We use Markdown for formatting. You don’t need to use any of it — plain text reviews are perfectly welcome. But if you want to add structure, here’s what you can do:
**bold** → bold
*italic* → italic
~strikethrough~ → strikethrough
## Heading → section heading
### Subheading → smaller heading
- item or * item → bullet list
1. item → numbered list
> quote → blockquote for citing lyrics or references
`inline code` → inline code
--- → horizontal divider
[text](url) → clickable link
## Production The **bassline** on this track is *incredible* — warm, round, and perfectly placed in the mix. > “I’m feeling like a villain” - Vocal layering in the chorus is impeccable - The bridge modulates in a way that feels earned - Percussion stays restrained until the final minute **Score: 8.5 / 10**
• No pressure to format. A well-written paragraph of plain text beats fancy formatting every time.
• Focus on why something works (or doesn’t) — specific observations over vague praise.
• Mention production, vocals, lyrics, structure, or emotion — whatever stood out to you.
• Be respectful. Reviews are opinions, not facts.
